Dr. Ray Bakke invests in the next generation of urban ministry leaders locally, nationally and around the globe by speaking, teaching, mentoring, consulting and publishing through his organization, Ray Bakke Associates. RBA strategically partners with those who are passionate about empowering the church to be creatively missional in an urban world. Bakke is the Chancellor of English Programs at Union University of California and a professor of Global Urban Leadership in Hong Kong at the Ray Bakke Centre for Urban Transformation. He pastored inner-city churches in Chicago and Seattle for 20 years and, since 1979, has personally led or served as a major resource leader for urban ministry consultations in more than 200 large cities on six continents. His published works include A Surprising Journey, The Urban Christian and A Theology as Big as the City.
