Introduction
Welcome to the San Francisco Interfaith Winter Shelter. We would like to thank the many organizations that have supported and continue to support the Interfaith Winter Shelter. A tremendous amount of work goes into making this effort a success. On this page you will find information about the many different ways that you can participate in the shelter.

The Interfaith Winter Shelter recently completed its 36th year! If your congregation/organization is interested in preparing and serving meals during the 2025-2026 season, please sign up here.
PLEASE NOTE: This invitation is for congregation/organization host sponsors only and not for individual volunteers. Those signing up are committing their congregation/organization to cook and serve a meal on the date(s) they have requested.

The 2024-2025 Interfaith Winter Shelter Season completed its 36th year of service to our City!
In providing a safe, clean, warm, and respectful respite from inclement weather and home-cooked meals served with love, this annual collaborative effort offered essential relief to up to 80 guests per night, who otherwise call the streets their home. As host, the San Francisco Interfaith Council extends deep appreciation to our principal partners and the countless faithful who deserve heartfelt credit for making this season's Interfaith Winter Shelter possible:
