Speakers will answer questions pertaining to such issues as: how nonprofit organizations can legally support the voting process; how nonprofits can use social media strategies to increase voter turnout; how the collective voice of all faiths can combine for larger voter turnout; what resources are available to educate individuals in congregations and others about the voting process and options, voting tips and more.
This informative roundtable will provide faiths and nonprofit leaders with the tools, resources and information they need to help affect change by getting out the vote. Nonprofit organizations cannot engage in political campaigning under section 501 (c ) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, but they can help give voice to critical issues by strategically equipping those they serve to exercise their right to vote.
