(Building A Tough Board for Tough Times)
Presenters:

Is your Board of Directors prepared to lead even in tough times?
Participants of this workshop will learn the specifics of what faiths/nonprofit boards must know and do now to avoid traps, protect the organization, develop assets and move forward to transform your community.
The workshop will present an overview of board members’ legal roles and responsibilities, how to find new board members that have a passion for the organization’s mission; strategies to identify individuals with the skill sets to achieve a strong board mix, the process of training, orienting and communicating with board members; how to develop a board of bold superstars to ignite the organization even during tough times.
This workshop is geared to executive directors, board members and staff.
We highly recommend that at least one board member accompany the organization’s leadership to benefit from this valuable development opportunity.
