About this Event
City Economic Officials to Brief Faith Leaders on COVID-19 Economic Impact & Relief Programs (Thursday, April 9th 8:30 am via Zoom)
San Francisco's 800 faith communities and religious institutions are hubs for our City's most vulnerable residents. Among these are the homeless, food insecure, disabled, undocumented, aging, working poor, and so many others. Religious leaders are frontline ambassadors ministering daily to these vulnerable sectors. On Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 8:30 am the San Francisco Interfaith Council (SFIC) will host City Controller Ben Rosenfield and Office of Economic & Workforce Development Director Joaquin Torres for an online briefing of the COVID-19 economic impact on San Francisco and the City's strategy and response relief programs. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
