Have you ever asked yourself, “Is it good or bad to give money to someone who is panhandling?” or “Is homelessness a choice?” Here is your opportunity to pose your most challenging questions to Kelly Cutler, St. Dominic's parishioner and Homeless Rights Advocate! Kelley is a member of the Coalition on Homelessness Human Rights Workgroup and a member of the Saint Dominic's Social Justice leadership team.

She has specialized in the field of social work for over 15 years, working with poor and marginalized populations. Throughout her career, she has worked in direct service, as well as social justice in our community, through advocacy and community organizing to address the systemic, root causes of socio-economic problems that affect many people.

Her research on the social stigma of poverty in our culture has led her to see the important role faith communities have in creating significant change because of their focus on the dignity of the person and the inherent value of being human. Come and contribute your questions, knowledge, and personal experiences to the dialogue.

This event will take place in the Aquinas Room. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!
