Jeff Kositsky, Director of San Francisco's Department of Homelessness & Supportive Housing, will speak about the challenge of homelessness. He leads a relatively new department that will help homeless residents permanently exit the streets and move into housing and services. He will speak about the history of homelessness in San Francisco, including trends, current issues/challenges in homelessness, current HSH programs designed to address homelessness, and ways in which people can help. This will be followed by a Question and Answer session and then a reception.
