The acclaimed Monaco Boys’ Choir of the Principality of Monaco, formerly known as The Little Singers of Monaco (Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco), will perform for an exceptional concert at Incarnation Episcopal Church on Saturday July 15 at 7 p.m. to celebrate Bastille Day. Under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco, the Monaco Boys Choir donates its time and talents to concerts organized on behalf of humanitarian associations throughout the world. The prestigious group, now directed by Pierre Debat, was founded in 1974 by Prince Rainier III. It gathers together 30 boys, aged between 8 and 18 years.
The choir has visited more than 40 countries around the world and performs an average of 40 concerts a year. Its musical repertoire includes sacred musical works by Charpentier, Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Fauré, but also Monégasque folk songs, as well as patriotic American songs.
This free concert showcasing Monaco’s joyous cultural and artistic heritage is provided under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, and with the generous support of Monaco’s Government.
