Thursday, February 25, 2021
3:00 – 4:30pm (PST)
Join us from the comfort of home to learn the gentle movements of Qi Gong
No equipment needed – you can exercise in comfortable clothes – you do not need to exert yourself – yet you'll come away feeling energized, revitalized, and calmer afterward.
Led by: Nusha Askari, Ph.D., Senior Administrator of the Stanford Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and certified Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Yoga.
About Qi Gong
Nusha refers to her method as “Nu Qi Gong”. It's the melding of her own experiences and expertise in Western approaches in the fields of neurophysiology, neuropsychology, and neurology combined with the Eastern approaches of Chinese medical practices in Qi Gong, Yoga, Tai Chi, meditation, and mindfulness.
Nusha successfully leads exercise classes for people with good health, anxiety, fatigue, chronic issues, and neurological and neurodegenerative issues (e.g., dementia, stroke, cancer). The gentle movements of Nu Qi Gong are especially beneficial and accessible to the older adults.
